Rules for sustainable success: compliance at Veridos
For Veridos, the responsible and lawful conduct of the company and its employees is essential for long-term business success. A shared ethos throughout the Group is the basis for the worldwide trust placed in us by our customers and partners.
A Group-wide Code of Conduct serves as a basis for compliance with the rules in our everyday routine, setting out boundaries that apply to each and every one of us at Veridos – at each site, in each business sector, to all business partners and in our dealings with one another. It also reflects the Veridos corporate values of integrity, collaboration, and innovation. Business practices in the company are based on these values. In order to prevent corruption and breaches of antitrust laws, Veridos has an effective Compliance Management System in place. This is reviewed on an ongoing basis by means of external audits.
Veridos compliance principles
Veridos sets out common values as guiding principles. Additionally, a Veridos Compliance organization and a Compliance Management System monitor adherence to rules and regulations.
The Veridos Compliance Organization defines the internal regulations and supports their adherence. Core element is the Compliance Office, which is supported by Local Compliance Officers. This ensures that Compliance contact persons can be reached for each employee.
Veridos has implemented a Compliance Management System to prevent instances of non-compliance and to increase employees’ awareness of compliance issues. In addition to prevention it is also used to detect and correct any instances of non-compliance.
Veridos implemented a Whistleblowing Tool (BKMS System) which is available 24/7 all over the world in order to provide all Veridos employees and third parties a convenient opportunity to report potential non-compliances.
