Veridos participates in major African ID online conference: ID4Africa Marathon of Innovations Government representatives: come join us!
While this year has brought many challenges it has also opened our eyes to new ways in which the effective use of digital technologies can enhance our lives. ID4Africa had planned to hold its annual general meeting in Marrakesh, Morocco, this year. It’s an event that usually attracts more than 1,500 stakeholders, including over 800 African government decision-makers from 49 countries.
The pandemic scuppered those plans. But undaunted, the organizers have created instead of a three-day online event, ID4Africa Marathon of Innovations, running December 8th through 10th.

The focus of this event is on how innovative tools, enabled by digital identity, can help countries address the new challenges brought by COVID-19. In particular, it will explore how these tools can be used to mitigate the impact of disruptions so that governments can restart their economies and respond to the needs of their populations in a timely and proportional fashion.
This year’s virtual alternative to the physical meeting combines a multi-session technology symposium with programmed innovation showcases, as well as an innovation zone where attendees can network and interact one-to-one with innovators. Veridos will be an active participant, sharing our expertise at this event in a number of ways.
As a repeated exhibitor of the physical event, Veridos was excited to participate in this digital alternative. On the opening day Veridos will present a symposium on authentication services as a core of digital ID and demonstrate VeriGO® TrueID – an eGov authentication solution. During the Innovation Showcase on day three, will take viewers digitally to the Veridos showroom in Berlin, covering such topics as enrollment and CLIP® ID color personalization technology for polycarbonate IDs as well as presenting a use case for the new solution VeriGO® TrueSeal, that attests sensitive documents necessary during the COVID-19 crisis.
Veridos will have also a virtual exhibition booth in the ID4Africa Innovation Zone. Here delegates will be able to exchange with Veridos experts and have their questions answered directly.
As well as presenting at this significant event, we will also have a number of delegates in attendance, gaining insight into the views and needs of stakeholders in this increasingly important emerging customer base. Registration is free for government representatives.
